Nymphs are gifted with plant-powers and are especially associated with flowers, each individual being tied to one flower in particular. When they’re extraordinarily happy, their flower would sprout from the top of their heads like flower crowns or their surroundings to symbolise their joy. They’re also capable of giving birth to ‘plant babies’ for the lack of better terms, where the child grows within a big flower. It doesn’t matter what sex, everyone is capable of childbirth.In the Xu Era they were kept akin to slaves to the dragons. Serving them as nothing but pretty little things and attendants, they grew to be seen more as objects or pets with the times. It wasn’t easy being a Nymph, as their lives belonged to their masters, and the way they lived was decided by the dragons alone. Undergoing early training to be the best of servants, each Nymph was designated into specific roles as they grow into adulthood. The prettier and useful you were, the better positions one could acquire.A popular establishment among the dragons was The Garden, a pleasure house hosting the most beautiful of the Nymphs. Despite the rough business, it was one of the more desired destinations as a Nymph, as they were at least cared for relatively well… as long as a good job was proven.Other roles were farmhands, household or personal attendants, and warriors akin to gladiators— fighting for the entertainment of dragons.A Nymph is the only one with the power to purify the miasma that has been plaguing the world for a thousand years. Mere exposure to it leads to corruption of both mind and body, until one turns into a mindless beast. Land touched by miasma becomes uninhabitable, with fleeing being the only option to escape such terrors. While minor and early contact can be prevented in very early stages, only a rare few have the power to actually cleanse the poison out of the system completely. For a millennium has the reigning Nymph family been keeping the deadlands of Dragonfell at bay, preventing it from further spreading. But when they were overrun by traitors ten years ago, so too did the plague spread its deadly touch…Nymphs now are persecuted and enslaved when discovered, and forced into labour at the borders. Every individual has a different affinity to their cleansing powers, most ordinary Nymphs do not have the capabilities to deal with such intense use and push of their untrained powers.

In his childhood, Jun was a far more shy, naive and kindhearted prince. He struggled to speak up for himself, which caused him inner turmoil for following his father’s demands and neglecting his own needs. Thankfully, thanks to a certain individual, he was able to outgrow his timid self and become the hardheaded, adventurous young man he had always hoped to be... Despite that, he still refuses to express his true feelings. After exploring himself and accepting his needs, Jun found himself disliking being told what he needs or should be doing by others. He claims to work alone and for his own interests only, and yet, Jun suspiciously finds himself in the company of those in need surprisingly often. He can protest it all he wants, but deep down he cannot deny giving a helping hand to those he comes across.

Weixiao is a man that likes to test and push beyond his limits, welcoming any and all challenges thrown his way. Confident and driven, some say that if he put his mind to it, he could take on the world with a smile. Similar to his father, Weixiao has an odd way of showing affection through teasing and bullying others, particularly Jun (who he fondly calls “piggy”).

Weixiao is the son of Xu Cheng and Xia Li, and the younger brother of Zhaohui. Skilled in martial arts, he trained with his father, a martial god, and several other mentors. His martial prowess and strength grew exponentially as the years went on, eventually meeting his new shidi, Han Jun. Although awkward at first, the young boy grew fond of Weixiao, and he too felt a strong obligation to help teach (and haze) not just combative skills, but social skills as well. At the young age of 16, Weixiao was invited on a military campaign against mighty beasts that threatened humankind. This campaign lasted roughly a year before he came back, excited to tell his shidi about his adventures and glory.When Weixiao and Jun ran into each other, there was something in the air that made his heart squeeze. Jun was standing under a mugunghwa (rose of sharon) tree beneath a beautiful blue sky, his pink hair swaying softly in the breeze… a sight that would sear itself into Weixiao’s brain. From that day forward, feelings between them blossomed… and Weixiao decided he would confess to the young prince on his birthday.Unfortunately, this was something he was unable to do. The day of the Han prince's birth was also the day that the Han Massacre took place, which was led by Han Jangmin. Trying to fight against the chaos and protect the people, the group (Weixiao, Zhaohui, Suyin, and Jun) discovered who was truly behind the attack: Song Chaobei and Xue MengYao. They were going to use the blood sacrifice of the Hans to rewrite everyone’s memories, thus changing not only history, but to throw their loved ones’ lives into the sick abyss of their own personal hell.Throwing themselves, they fought to stop the spell from casting, but despite their best efforts, they were unable to stop it completely. Although memories were still wiped and rewritten,all was not lost. Thanks to the group’s meddling, the young heroes were able to counteract against Chaobei and MengYao’s will, and they could not get their wish granted.The spell casters were not protected from the spell, and Weixiao’s memories were also wiped. When he woke up, he had a pounding headache… all he remembers is that he grew up in a poor village, adopted by an elderly couple. He had fallen in love with a boy with blue hair and the most beautiful pink eyes… he had confessed his love underneath the mugunghwa tree, the blue sky matching his hair perfectly. An image that is clearly seared in his mind… and yet, whenever his mouth opens to recall his name, none ever comes out. He could not remember his beloved, but he knows without a doubt that their love exists. With sharp eyes and honeyed words, Zhaohui’s greatest weapon is his ability to charm… though his prowess for magic is nothing to scoff at either. He takes his role as prince very seriously. During the day, the Song prince would pour through books and attend numerous lectures, studying theories and history. During the night, he would go to grand socials and gatherings, strengthening bonds and creating future connections with his sweet talk and charismatic (and slightly flirtatious) behavior… and yet, always finds enough time for his beauty sleep. He sets high expectations for himself and others, and expects nothing less than perfection. The prince isn’t quite so aggressive as he is thorough, but some people have a problem with his attitude at times. Despite his charisma and popularity, there are some that would describe Zhaohui as someone with an inflated ego that only puts on a smile like a mask for a show.

Many followers find LuFeng highly intimidating, and with good reason. His cold demeanor and stoic face is bad enough, but he is also extremely strict and has little tolerance for any rule breaking/bending. Although he started off as a small god and everyone was scared of his presence, he eventually amassed a large number of followers. His followers outnumber some of the greater gods, and yet LuFeng never pursued a higher position or title. His methods are tough, but fair, and LuFeng never clouds his intentions with his own agenda. People often wonder how does his husband, Rujin the First Hope, fall in love with someone as cold as LuFeng? He may be a devoted god, but could a god who shows no affection be a loving husband? Rujin says he is like love itself, but many hold doubts to that claim…

One of the daughters of the First Mother, Nabi led a life of tranquility. She was always taught the wonders and virtues of mankind, and yet she was never allowed out into the mortal world. Daughters of the First Mother are to remain untouched and unspoiled by the influence of men. Nabi was always confused at that statement-- there was so much good in the world, how could she possibly be harmed if she were to step foot into the mortal realm?Nabi’s love and curiosity for mankind grew and grew, and one day an opportunity arose where she took that chance. When Kaiming first attacked and caused havoc in the heavenly realm, Nabi swiftly made her escape, bringing nothing but the clothes on her back and the fans that were gifted to her by her mother.As a child who was always pampered and had attendants waiting on her hand and foot, for her to be suddenly thrown into the world with no help of any kind was a sudden and drastic change.
